The Youth Council

Starting in the 2025/26 season, we’re launching something exciting: Konserthuset’s Youth Council. Around thirty young people will get the chance to explore the world of music from the inside – and at the same time influence how Konserthuset evolves.

You don’t need to play an instrument or know all about classical music – what really counts is your curiosity and interest!

You’ll attend concerts, meet musicians from the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, connect with soloists and conductors, and discover everything going on behind the scenes. Most importantly – we want to hear your ideas, questions and perspectives.

You bring the energy, we bring the experience – and we grow together.

The council meets once a month at Konserthuset. You’ll decide what matters to you, and shape the activities – workshops, discussions, creative projects. Toward the end of the season, you'll also create and carry out a project together as a group.

And this is just the beginning. A new council will be formed each season – and we hope many of you will stay connected with us in new ways even after your year is over.
