The phenomenal pianist Víkingur Ólafsson is Konserthuset's Artist-in-Residence. The Icelander is now one of the most sought-after pianists in the world. Now Víkingur Ólafsson returns to Konserthuset no less than three times during the same season.

Three outdoor concerts at beautiful Millesgården on the 27 May, 3 June and 10 June.

In addition to being the home of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Konserthuset is also a popular and coveted destination for guesting ensembles and orchestras.

This year’s International Composer Festival, 6–9 November, is dedicated to the Swedish-Dutch composer Klas Torstensson. His music embraces both volcanic forces and the most tender nuances. Torstensson moves between extremes.

Now and then members of the orchestra present themselves as soloists. Andrej Power, Andreas Alin and Jakob Nilsson appear as soloists during the 2025/26 season.

An entire world is reflected in Jan Lundgren's three concerts under the collective name Kind of Jazz. The acclaimed pianist offers creative meetings with invited artists and ensembles.

Starting 2025/26, “Composer of the Season” is launched – a composer whose works are performed in several concerts throughout the season. First up is Tebogo Monnakgotla.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear tomorrow’s classical music stars today at the season’s Rising Stars festival, 30 January–1 February 2026.
