The Clara in question is the renowned pianist and composer Clara Schumann. She lived and worked in the 19th century, but now she travels through time to the present day on a mysterious mission. Clara finds herself at a concert in Konserthuset, with Ayla Kabaca as presenter. Before returning to the 1800s, Clara is determined to hear music by both her friends and herself.
The performance Clara – No One Silences Me Now! features music by female composers past and present, including a newly composed piece by Tebogo Monnakgotla, this season’s composer-in-residence at Konserthuset. Marie Rosenmir conducts the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and Clara Schumann is portrayed by Natalie Gourman Syberg.

Welcome to join in as we sing beloved Christmas classics together with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. So clear your throats, warm up your vocal cords and get ready for the perfect start to the festive season. Of course, you're just as welcome to sit back and listen – and let yourself be enveloped by orchestra and voices filling every corner of the Main Hall.
The sing-along is led by Emelie Power, organist and choir conductor at Katarina Parish. She has previously led sing-alongs with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic both at Philharmonic Day and last year’s Christmas Sing-along.
We are also pleased to welcome back conductor Sofia Winiarski. Since graduating in conducting in 2022, she has received wide acclaim and is already in high demand among orchestras. From 2025, Winiarski is the Artistic Director of the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra. She made her debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic in spring 2024.

Ayla Kabaca is our tour guide as we take off with the help of music to visit the world’s seven modern wonders, together with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Norwegian conductor – or should we say pilot – Halldis Rønning.
We take flight to the musical sounds of Klas Backman’s vivid portrayal of an aeroplane, with roaring engines picking up speed before finally lifting off the ground.
Our journey takes us to the Colosseum in Rome, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal in Agra, India, and the desert heat of Petra. Each destination is matched with music that brings the place to life: The Death of Tybalt from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet (Colosseum), Hindu Dance from Carl Nielsen’s Aladdin Suite (Taj Mahal), El cóndor pasa (Machu Picchu), and the Chinese folk tune The Moon’s Reflection on the Second Spring (Great Wall of China) – to name just a few.

The Great Singing Spectacle! is all about singing in every direction together with Yria and all the children.
Yria is a group of musicians and educators who have released albums and films, and toured throughout Sweden with performances for young children. They have previously performed at Konserthuset Stockholm in shows for preschool audiences. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted by young Norwegian conductor Ingunn Korsgård Hagen, who works with, among others, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.
In collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Music’s initiative Sjungande barn (“Singing Children”).
